From its foundation in 2007-2008 academic year on, The Faculty of Arts and Science embodying two departments has made a remarkable progress. The major aim of the faculty is to become one of the leading academic institutions by contributing to the scientific improvements throughout the world with the increasing number of students and academicians.
The Faculty of Arts and Science has the departments of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Archeology, Psychology, Turkish Language and Literature, Western Languages and Literature, Art History, History, Geography and Sociology. The departments of Physics and Chemistry was established in 2007-2008 academic year. The departments of Turkish Language and Literature, Western Languages and Literatures, Art History and History was established in 2009-2010 academic year
A conference hall with 190 people capacity, 2 cafeterias for academic staff and students and a canteen are available in The Faculty of Arts and Science
The basic goal of the Faculty of Arts and Science is to raise students who are supportive of modern and scientific thought, enthusiastic and devoted to Ataturk’s principles.
